Fallon is an Irish surname, originally O Fallamhain ("descendant of the leader"), used as a first name. It came to prominence in the 1980s as the name of one of the more sympathetic female leads in the television series Dynasty, and has been used quietly ever since. In the UK it is currently receiving publicity as the name of a character in the popular radio soap The Archers.
